It feels cliché today to say that we’re a fast-moving business in a fast-moving industry – I’d like to meet the CEO who doesn’t say that to his or her employees and investors. Certainly, the pace of business is much faster today than it was in the 1990s, or even five years ago.
But it’s not just the pace of business that keeps us moving at Adconion.
Online advertising is certainly a fast-moving industry: advertisers, agencies, publishers and content owners are still jockeying for position to figure out the best way to add value to their brands and make them stand out online.
We’re an active part of that industry, trying to move it forward by offering advertisers and agencies with strategic executions, targeting and data analysis to reach key audiences, and working with publishers and content owners to increase the value of their properties online.
But we also have aggressive plans. We’re moving forward, expanding our offering both in terms of our products and in terms of our global reach. We are moving aggressively into the online video industry, because video is one of the most compelling advertising formats, and we believe our background as an audience network gives us the skills we need to syndicate monetized content successfully online. That’s right, monetized content – advertisers are, after all, at the core of our company.
We’ve always been a global company, but we’re expanding even more aggressively. We have 16 offices in seven countries on three continents, and will be growing our headcount by approximately 50 percent this year. Aside from organic growth, we’re taking advantage of strategic partnerships to grow our reach globally – like our exclusive partnership with Goldbach Media Group that gives us exclusive access to inventory in Central and Eastern Europe.
